You’re Hired! Lucy becomes a Legal Apprentice

Year 13 student, Lucy Weighell, has taken her first steps on the road to a high-powered career in the highly competitive legal profession. 

Lucy, 18 from Northallerton, had to undertake a series of written tests and impress her prospective employers in a face-to-face interview before being offered a position as a paralegal apprentice by Leeds-based nationally-renowned legal firm, Plexus Law.

Whilst some might imagine a career in law to be the TV world of crime and dramatic courtroom scenes, Lucy plans to specialise in motoring law as she gained an interest in this area when sitting her practice test.

Lucy, who currently studies English Literature, history and business studies is most looking forward to ‘being in a big city’ and ‘working on interesting cases’.
