Today at Northallerton School & Sixth Form College we celebrated the Year 11 exam results. Students have done incredibly well and have risen to the challenge of a rigorous examination process. There are many individual success stories within Northallerton School & Sixth Form College and the year group as a whole and this reflects the hard work and commitment of every student.
Headteacher Vicki Rahn said “Congratulations to all of our students on their exam results today. We are really proud of this cohort for their hard work and resilience in overcoming the many challenges they have faced in recent years. We are delighted to have been able to celebrate with our students and their families this morning and wish them all the best for the next stage of their education. Northallerton School & Sixth Form College wishes to thank all parents and carers for their role in supporting students over their time here. We also thank all the staff who have worked tirelessly enabling them to take their next steps into education or training”
We have many students who have achieved amazing results including:
Ami who achieved an incredible nine grade 9s said, “I found the exams challenging but I had a lot of support from the school. Staff supported me throughout and I am pleased to be staying at Northallerton School to study biology, chemistry and maths with a view to a future career in medicine’.
The hard working twins are both over the moon with their results. Tears of joy from Holly were matched with the jumps of delight from brother Charlie. Holly is especially pleased with 6 grade 9s which she was not expecting and Charlie excelled in many subjects.
Harrison, our student leader, is really happy with his results and is excited to be staying at Northallerton School to study physics, chemistry and biology. He wishes to thank the school for all the support over the last 5 years.
A special mention must be made to Grace who is really pleased with her results, especially maths, and is really excited to be continuing her studies at Northallerton School & Sixth Form College..
Richard Crane, CEO of the Areté Learning Trust said ‘Many congratulations to all of our students across the Trust on a very successful set of GCSE results this year. We wish them every success in their next steps in education or employment’
