Fantastic Victory for U14 Girls Hockey

Our girls recently competed in the Weetwood Hockey Club and U14 Yorkshire State-School Hockey Festival, showcasing their impressive skills and teamwork. Winning the first 5 out of 6 games without conceding a goal, they faced Abbey Grange School in the final match, a tough opponent who hadn’t lost any games either. Despite a tight defense, Abbey Grange scored first, but our team responded quickly with Lexi’s goal. With minutes left, Lexie scored the winning goal, securing a total of 23 goals throughout the festival. Their cohesion, support, and sportsmanship were exceptional, making us proud.
