Year 12 – Curriculum Information

Our aim is to provide a range of A level subjects which will allow students to develop a variety of skills, as well as satisfy their personal preferences. Each subject consists of five one hour lessons, one of which is an independent study lesson where students are expected to do their own research, further reading or assignments, working independently.  Students normally study three A level subjects, however Further Maths and Core Maths can be studied alongside these three subjects.  

Further Maths students may choose to study the subject for just one year to AS level rather than continue for a further year to complete the full A level.
