Co-Create Drama & Music Trip

Last Friday, our Year 10 and 11 Drama and Music students took part in York St John University’s Co-Create Festival. The students had been working hard for the past few months to create their own performances on the Festival’s theme of ‘Serendipity’ and Friday was the culmination of all their hard work.
During the day our students took part in practical music and drama workshops, as well as watching the university students’ work and teaching their pieces on the university’s professional standard stage. This all culminated in their performances to the audience of University staff and the other schools from around North Yorkshire that were taking part.
Our students’ performances were outstanding and their conduct throughout the day was exemplary. We are very proud of all of them. #beingthebestwecanbe #drama #music #actor #performance #expression
