CHARITY HOUSE QUIZ

Our Sixth Form Council have worked hard since Christmas organising events to run throughout the coming school year. Their first event takes place this Thursday and is being organised by our Deputy House Captain Laura Miller. Laura, who is in Year 12, has gone above and beyond to organise an event that can help bring the school community together during a difficult time. Below Laura explains more about her quiz and her chosen charity:

‘I am organising a charity quiz that will be held on Thursday 4th March at 4.00pm. This quiz will consist of subject rounds with each round being organised by that subject teacher, for example, there is a History round that is being run by Mr Stacey-Chapman. There will also be an extra special round at the end that is unlike the other rounds. All the donations will be going to the charity Mind as I feel that the resources they give are vitally important in these times, and I would like to support them as much as possible. All participants will earn a house point and the winner will earn an R2 card! I hope for as many of us to join in and to raise as much money as possible for a fantastic cause, whilst having a fun time.’
