The BIG BIKE Revival!Stage 1 Cycles are offering free health checks on your bike to keep you cycling safety.Pop down to the Applegarth Long Stay Car Park on the Saturday 22nd May between 10an - 3pm.Available for adult and children’s bikes and includes up to 30 minutes work checking the cycle is safe to ride and making minor repairs if necessary.The health check will include checks of brakes, gears, chain, tyre, nuts, bolts and headset. Richard Crane has been appointed as the Chief Executive of the Areté Learning Trust, of which Northallerton, Richmond and Stokesley Schools are members.Richard brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the role, joining the Trust from Durham County Council where he was the Head of Education and Skills, responsible for strategy and development to raise attainment, ensure children achieve their potential and progress successfully from education to the workplace.  Prior to this, Richard was the Headteacher of three secondary schools.
