Open Evening Cancelled
It is with deep regret that we will not be able to go ahead with our planned Year 6 and 6th Form Open Evening this week (Thursday 21st October). This decision has been made following further advice from Public Health England (PHE) based on the rising number of Covid cases in our local community.
Please see the statement below from PHE:
In light of rising infection rates across North Yorkshire, PHE cannot support any school events taking place.
Instead, we will host an online event comprising of a tour of our new site and welcome talks from students and staff. A link to this event will be posted here on our website at the end of next week, from Thursday 28th October. It will then be viewable at any time.
We hope to be able to host a face-to-face open evening at some point in the future when cases decrease and PHE are happy for us to do so. Again, we apologise for this news, we understand that you will be disappointed, just as we are.
Our school prospectus contains all of the information for prospective students and their parents / carers.
DISCOVER Northallerton School & Sixth Form College
As part of Areté Learning Trust, we are an outward-facing school - we work closely with our partner academies, Richmond School and Sixth Form College and Stokesley School and Sixth Form College and also collaborate with other local schools on a range of projects. This enables us to be highly reflective as a staff and constantly seek new opportunities to promote success for the young people in our care.
